TOWN OF COXSACKIE
June 14, 2026

The meeting was called to order by Supervisor Hanse at 7:00 pm with the Pledge of Allegiance.
A motion to accept the minutes of June 9, 2026, was made by Thomas Burke seconded
by Shane Pilato and duly carried.

Supervisor turned the meeting over to Donna Wasilewski to facilitate discussion/proposals for
IT services. Donna received three quotes for IT Services. Webjogger $1780.50 per month, Greene Computer $1804.64, and Nordutch Technologies (current provider) $2,214.70 per month. Despite some language differences in the quotes, all services are similar. The Town has been a bit unsatisfied with our current provider. Representatives from Webjogger and Greene Computer were available to answer any questions. Cyber Insurance, recovery, and transitions were all discussed. The Town does not have any unusual circumstances. Webjogger manages other municipalities and the Town of Catskill. Greene Computer manages the Village of Athens and Ravena. The board thanked everyone for coming in.
Councilman Burke disclosed that he is longtime friends with Greene Computer owner
Chris Depietro and his father.
Supervisor opened the meeting for public comments.
Carol Metz commented on the IT discussions/providers, that as a Town resident and taxpayer, she prefers to support local businesses.
Carol also inquired about landscaping or lack of, in front of the Senior Center. Rick stated that they could budget some money next year. Carol would like to see it presentable especially since Town Hall looks so nice.
Highway Superintendent Eldred provided a written report. Finished patching all town roads, round one of roadside mowing has been completed. The Potic Creek Road project has been paved and is now complete. They assisted the Village of Coxsackie with some roadside mowing with the boom mower and sent trucks to assist the Town of Athens with their chip sealing. The Town’s chip sealing projects have all been completed; finished today with help from the Town of Athens, Town of Catskill, Town of New Baltimore, and the Village of Athens. Assisting the Town of New Baltimore with their chip sealing. Applied and won a work safety equipment grant from PERMA. This includes $2500 worth of safety equipment including safety whistles and safety horns, six safety vests, six hard hats, six roadwork signs with stands and 40 cones.
Chief of EMS Myrdycz provided a report; they had 109 calls for the month.
Highway Superintendent Eldred requested a posted speed limit A Resolution Webber Road.
A resolution was presented and a motion was passed supporting the request for a posted speed limit of 40MPH on Webber Road in the Town of Coxsackie. Thomas Burke made the motion which was seconded by Shane Pilato and duly carried.

Proposed Local Law #3-2026 was presented. Said local law would amend the public water supply watershed protection overlay district. A motion to schedule a public hearing for August 11, 2026, at 7:00 pm was made by Thoams Burke seconded by Patrick Kennedy and duly carried.

A motion to declare the Town Board as Lead Agency for SEQR regarding Local Law #3-2026, was made by Thomas Burke seconded by Patrick Kennedy and duly carried.

Delaware Engineering provided a proposal for services in connection with the Flint Mine Solar project for services to be rendered in connection with the Host Community and Road Use Agreements. A motion to accept the proposal as presented was made by Thomas Burke seconded by Patrick Kennedy and duly carried.

A motion to approve and accept the proposal of Greene Computer as the Town’s new IT provider was made by Patrick Kennedy seconded by Shane Pilato and duly carried.

Approval for Supervisor Hanse and Councilman Burke to attend the NYSAOT Legislative Conference September 22-23, 2026, in Albany was made by Patrick Kennedy seconded by Shane Pilato and duly carried.

A motion appointing Supervisor Hanse as voting delegate and Councilman Burke as alternate delegate for the conference was made by Shane Pilato seconded by Patrick Kennedy and duly carried.

Supervisor received a request from EMS Chief to hire a part-time EMT – Harleigh Frascello. Harleigh has her certifications and is Civil Service approved. A motion approving the hire was made by Thomas Burke seconded by Shane Pilato and duly carried.

General Fund and Highway bills in the amount of $242,446.01 were audited on abstract #7, voucher numbers 2026-418 through 2026-477. Bank reconciliations were presented for review.
A motion to accept the May Justice reports was made by Shane Pilato seconded by Thomas Burke and duly carried.

At 7:48 pm a motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Thomas Burke seconded by Shane Pilato and duly carried.
