Planniing Board Hearing

Please be advised that the Town of Coxsackie Planning Board will conduct a public hearing on Thursday, October 2, 2025, at 56 Bailey Street, Coxsackie, NY at 7:00pm.The purpose of the hearing is to review the site plan review and special use permit applications made by Kyle Harris for an automobile repair shop located at 11053 Rte. 9W, Coxsackie, Tax map # 70.00-4-4.2. All interested parties have the right to be heard. By order of the Planning Board, Joseph Garland, Chairman.

Planning Board Hearing

Please be advised that the Town of Coxsackie Planning Board will conduct a public hearing on Thursday, October 2, 2025, at 56 Bailey Street, Coxsackie, NY at 7:00pm. The purpose of the hearing is to review the site plan review and special use permit applications made by Robert Ellis for an indoor cannabis cultivation and processing facility located at 200 Old Plank Road, tax #55.00-6-12. All interested parties have the right to be heard. By order of the Planning Board, Joseph Garland, Chairman.

Highway Department

The Town of Coxsackie is seeking a full-time heavy motor equipment operator for its Highway Department. Experience is preferred but will train the right person. Applicant must possess at least a CDL Class B License or be willing to get one within one year of employment. Must also be willing to perform manual labor and work long hours during winter storm events. Mechanical skills a plus. Health insurance is available with employee contribution along with NYS retirement, NYS deferred compensation, and AFLAC. Vacation, sick, and personal time available on an accrued basis.

Potic Mountain Road Closure

EFFECTIVE APRIL 3 UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE, POTIC CREEK ROAD WILL BE CLOSED FOR BRIDGE REPAIRS.

THE TOWN OF COXSACKIE HAS OBTAINED A NEW YORK STATE CREST GRANT TO REPLACE THE BRIDGE DURING THE SUMMER.

Senior Lunches

Senior lunches are served at the Coxsackie Senior Center for adults aged 60 and above.  Lunches are served weekdays at 11:45 am except on holidays or when schools are closed due to inclement weather.
